# Chhoti Si Kahani

<i>Chhoti Si Kahani</i> means short story in Hindi. I ocassionally write bite-sized stories in Hindi. When I started, I wanted to experiment with the format, the language, and with my commitment. Since then I have written more than 80 short stories. I borrow from my observations, and hence it is difficult to typecast them to a particular genre.

One thing that I learnt by publishing these stories is that building audience is really difficult. Though there are a few avid readers, and about 1.7K subscribers to my facebook page, none of my stories have gone 'viral' 😂  Of late, I have started a newsletter on substack to have a discipline around writing and publishing.
